Thomson Middle School
Technology Student Association (TSA) students raised funds to help fight breast
cancer. Two representatives from the Central Georgia Affiliate of Susan G.
Komen for the Cure, Emily Bowden and Cathy Pope, visited Thomson to receive a check
in the amount of $387.81.
During October, TSA students raised money by asking for donations to support
the cause, as well as selling breast cancer awareness related items. Students
involved were: Emma McConnell, Jada Nelson, Damien Nelson, Chyna Jenkins,
Joshua R. Green, Morgan Mason, Daenaja Newell, Kania Butts and Ashley Bennett.
Engineering & Technology Education Teacher Jessica Green assisted the
students with the project.
