11th Houston County Habitat tourney raises $19,000-plus at Waterford Club

Parrish Construction Group was the Title Sponsor for the 11th Annual HoCo Habitat Golf tournament on Friday, April 26th at The Waterford Golf Club. 51 golfers enjoyed terrific weather and an immaculately groomed golf course. They raised more than $19,000 for Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing ministry.

During the opening ceremony, Dave Cyr, president of Parrish Construction Group, addressed the golfers. “We’re proud to support a great organization like HoCo Habitat.” He talked about his personal long-term relationship with Habitat as well as his company’s history of support and thanked all the other sponsors.

“Tommy Wood and The Waterford Golf Club were first class hosts,” said Tom Prior, HoCo Habitat executive director, “The golf course was in great shape, the lunch was delicious and they delivered top-notch service.”

He went on to recognize their tournament sponsors. “We offer our deepest appreciation to our sponsors who made our tournament so successful.”

Longest drive winners were Tate Reddick and Jason Lord. Closest to the pin winners were Joe Andrews, Jay Flesher, Keith Lamb and Billy Thompkins.
