Royce Byrd and Jim Henderson were two of the class winners from the Perry Horseshoe Pitcher’s Club at the Cordele Open tournament held May 11. Byrd won the Championship Class with a 5-1 record and 140 ringers out of 240 shoes. He beat two follow Perry Pitchers, Larry Myers and Dan Sanders. Henderson won Class C at 5-1 with 74 ringers. Also, Aubrey Walker of Perry won Class B at 5-1 and 72 ringers.
