Perry PD arrest three in drug bust

The Perry Police Department and the Houston County Sheriff’s

Response Team arrested three people on Thursday, seized over $8,000 in drugs,

$1,100 in cash and two vehicles.

 

According to Perry Police Capt. Heath Dykes, police received

information that drug activity was taking place at 1305 W.F. Ragin Drive. He

said after an investigation of the information they were given police executed

the search warrant.

 

Patrick Sutton Jr, 21, Jacquelyn Sutton, 44, and Cordell

Toomer, 27, were arrested after police searched the home and found six ounces

of marijuana (approximate street value $1,200) and 58 ounces of crack cocaine

(approximate street value $7,000).

 

Patrick Sutton was charged with possession of tools for the

commission of a crime, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute

and trafficking cocaine.

 

Jacquelyn Sutton was charged with possession of marijuana

and Toomer had open warrants in Centerville in Bibb County for violating his

probation.
