Perry native has hit resturant in Atlanta
A Perry High School graduate’s Atlanta-based restaurant has been listed as one of USA TODAY’s best Mexican restaurants in 20 cities.
After seeing this distinction, two local women decided to check Nuevo Laredo Cantina out for themselves.
“The crab enchilada was out of this world,” said Betty Stubbs, who also commented on the delicious homemade salsa.
Visitors can expect to pay around $21 per meal.
Horace Evans was a 1956 graduate of PHS. He and his aunt owned the Horace and Mildred Shop in downtown Perry for many years.
The restaurant is located at 1495 Chattahoochee Ave. NW in Atlanta.
