Outstanding employee for May

The Robins Regional Chamber’s Business of the Month Committee presented Marie Gates, server at The Hilton Garden Inn’s Great American Grill, with the Outstanding Employee Award for May 2013. The award presentation is sponsored by Spherion Staffing Services of Middle Georgia.

“Marie is an excellent example of great customer service,” said customer Marie Munson. “We have a group of ladies that meet once a month to go out and eat; normally a different restaurant each month. After eating at the Great American Grill our group has chosen to return to the Hilton for five months in a row.”

Munson says that Gates’ memory of her group’s drink orders and entrees amaze them. “Unless we change up our orders, she doesn’t EVER write anything down. She is wonderful and exceptional at her duties at the hotel. We love her to death. You don’t find many like her.”

The Great American Grill is located in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at 207 North Willie Lee Parkway in Warner Robins and is open daily for breakfast and dinner Monday through Saturday.  They also host special events such as weddings, reunions, parties and banquets.
