MGT takes Player of the Year titles for both men’s and women’s basketball; Brown named Coach of the Year
Middle Georgia Technical College’s D’Meco
Rozier and Ashley West are the men’s and
women’s basketball Players of the
Year for GCAA Division III in 2012-13.
Bobby Brown, the leader of the MGTC Titans, is also the men’s basketball Coach of the Year for the conference.
Rozier, a freshman guard from Dublin, is on the conference’s first team along with teammate Dwyane Bryant, a 6-7 center
from Brunswick. Richard Yancey made the second team.
West is a 2007 graduate of Perry High School playing her
second season at MGTC. This is her second straight Player of the Year honor,
the first in the GCAA.
Teammate Kameelah Wynn joins West on the first team, and
Tyneisha Walton made the conference second team.
