Mossy Creek Middle School teacher Justin Bennett was awarded a “Bright Ideas” grant by the Flint Energies Foundation for the second consecutive year. He received $1,000 for his creative lesson plan that he submitted for consideration. During a surprise presentation, he was given flowers, balloons, a gift bag and a “big” check. Bennett is a career, technology and agriculture education teacher. The funds will be used to benefit his agricultural education program.
