Man robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night

A man was robbed at gunpoint in Perry Tuesday night,

according to police.

 

Perry Police Capt. Heath Dykes said the victim was walking

on Walcot Street, located just off of Sam Nunn Boulevard, when a burgundy van

with three black males pulled up to him. Dykes said two of the men got out of

the van and brandished a handgun, forcing the victim to the ground.

 

Dykes said those two men took the victim’s money, got back

in the van and left.

 

The gunman is described as a black male wearing a blue and

black shirt. The other suspect who left the van had on a black sweatshirt.

There is no further description of the third individual.

 

No one was injured and the case is still under

investigation.
