Locals receive scholarships from ABAC

Micah Wells of Bonaire and Samantha Strickland, Benjamin, Hunter and Lucas Lineberger of Perry have been awarded scholarships from the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation.

Wells, an engineering major, received the Presidential Scholar scholarship. He is a graduate of Veterans High School. Strickland, an agribusiness and agricultural economics major, is the recipient of the ABAC Ag Alumni scholarship. She is a graduate of Perry High School.

Benjamin, Hunter and Lucas Lineberger all received Weetie & Homer Rankin scholarships. Benjamin is a business major; Hunter is a diversified agriculture major; and Lucas is an undeclared major. All three are graduates of Perry High School.
