Lady Warhawk softball camp
With a lot of cooperation from the weather (with the exception of a hot Tuesday morning and perhaps some late rain on the final day Thursday), Veterans High softball coach Mitch Horton conducted his annual camp for young ladies at the school fields June 3-6. He said around 45 potential players showed up to learn about hitting the ball, fielding the ball and throwing the ball. The coach was helped by his current high school roster, assistant coaches and even some of this players from the past.
