Kentucky Blue Clay Blast opens horseshoe yearJohn Rackley and Mark Walton were two of the Perry Horseshoe Pitcher’s Club winners from the 2013 season opening Kentucky Blue Clay Blast held in Perry March 16. In Class G, Walton was 5-0 with 34 ringers. In Class D, Rackley was 3.5-1.5 with 47 ringers. Also winning from Perry were Jim Henderson in Class E (6-1, 79 ringers), Dave McKim in Class B (4-1, 64 ringers) and D.J. Mullis (4-1, 40 ringers). In the championship class, Larry Myers placed second. Robbie Bloodworth was also a runner-up to Rackley in the D Class.
