Special to the Journal

The

students of Hilltop Elementary where presented with a challenge on

September 4,2012: read 2012 books before December 19th, their last day of

school before Christmas break. The Hilltop students diligently read books for

months. On November 30,2012, the goal was met. In honor of their

accomplishment, the students were given an assembly where all the Hilltop

performing teams performed for the Hilltop student body. A special guest

also participated in the activities, Hilltop Principal, Dr. Ed Mashburn. The students especially liked when Dr. Mashburn performed

with the Hilltop Dance team.
