GHPA Interleague contestants
Five horseshoe pitching clubs gathered at the Four Stakes Club in Hull on Aug. 24 ready to take the Georgia Horseshoe Pitcher’s Association Interleague Championship home. The team of the Killer B’s from Stone Mountain won with an 8-4 record, which gave them the right to host next year’s event. The Four Stakes Club came up one game short in forcing a playoff, but had to settle for second place. Shown above are the representatives from the Perry Horseshoe Pitcher’s Club, which came in third place. They are Dan Sanders, Chuck Poole and Royce Byrd. Their record was 6-6, one game than the Crisp Horseshoe Club.
