Those who look forward to the Georgia National Fair each year will be “pleased with the 2013 offerings.”

That’s according to executive director Randy Moore’s report during the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority meeting Wednesday.

Along with numerous free concerts, there will be a “quality selection of food vendors” and rides provided by Reithoffer Shows, he said.

This year, gate admission will be $10.

Ron Goldsby stated that the ticket booths will have cameras installed for extra safety during this year’s fair.

On Oct. 5, Hunter Hayes and Love and Theft will be performing. On Oct. 12, Justin Moore and Thompson Square will be performing. Both concerts will start at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $30. Tickets for the two concerts will go on sale Aug. 31.
