Fromm here to there: Fromm twins are transferring from Houston County High School to Warner Robins High School

According to Lee Fromm, the Fromm twins, 6’0” quarterback Dylan and 6’4” starting receiver Tyler are transferring to Warner Robins High School next year to play their final two years of football. “It was a tough situation, but we felt more comfortable in [Mike] Chastain’s system with only two years to go,” confirmed Lee Fromm via text.

Former Houston County Bears head coach Von Lassiter recently resigned to take the head coaching position at Bleckley High School and former Bears defensive coordinator Ryan Crawford was recently pegged to take over athletic director and head coaching duties. Lee Fromm made it clear that the decision was 100 percent business and nothing personal against the current coaching staff. “Crawford is an awesome coach,” says Fromm. “My boys love him and and he’s been good to them. We just felt more comfortable playing in a more familiar offensive system.”

Chastain and the Demons only won three games last season, a major issue for that was the lack of a quality quarterback under center. Dylan Fromm could possibly be the answer Chastain and the Demons need at that position. He only attempted four passes (and rushed the ball 5 times for 18 yards) all season as a backup to big brother and University of Georgia signee Jake Fromm. Tyler Fromm caught 35 passes (third on the team behind Division I signees Amari Colbert and Eli Watson) for 543 yards and five touchdowns.

“I love the folks at HoCo, it just made sense for the boys to be at Warner Robins,” said Lee Fromm by phone minutes ago.
