Four Westfield athletes announce college ball plans

On Tuesday, Westfield’s coaches and student body gathered in the recital hall to celebrate four senior Hornets who will be playing college sports in the next school year. From left, Wayne O’Neal has a spot as a preferred walk-on to punt for Georgia Southern University in Statesboro; Evan Williams, catcher, signed a baseball scholarship to play for Point University in the town of West Point; Valerie McLure is going to play college basketball at Berry in Rome; and Dustin Hall joins Westfield teammate Garrett Brown as a signee for ABAC in Tifton.
