Feagin Mill Middle Finishes eighth at PAGE Academic Bowl

HOUSTON COUNTY, GA – Feagin Mill Middle School won eighth

place in Georgia at the 2013 Professional Association of Georgia Educators

(PAGE) Academic Bowl for Middle Grades State Championship, held at Georgia

College & State University on Jan. 26, 2013. The team was coached by Feagin

Mill Middle teachers Peggy McCall, Kristy Yarbrough and Becky Warren.

 

The Wolves team was one of 24 semi-finalists that competed during the

round-robin morning competition, with eight teams emerging as finalists. Those

eight finalists competed in the afternoon single-elimination competition

session. After a fast-paced battle of wits, Fulton County’s River Trail Middle

School emerged the 2013 PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades State Champion.

 

Coach Peggy McCall commented, “What a pleasure to work with such fine students.

They strive for excellence and are simply amazing! We are proud of our FMMS

academic team.”
