Six arrested in multi-agency drug bust

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Multiple agencies came together last week for an operation that led to a sizeable haul and the arrest of six Houston County residents.

According to a press release by the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office, on Aug. 21, a joint operation was conducted between eight agencies, including three locally.

Three search warrants were executed during the operation, along with a traffic stop in Houston County.

Law enforcement found $40,000 and 11 firearms, one stolen, along with 11 pounds of marijuana, two pounds of MDMA pills, a pound of crack cocaine, 3 ounces of powdered cocaine and two ounces of methamphetamine.

Six were arrested in connection, all from Warner Robins:

– Patrick Maurice Marshall, 44, charged with Sale of Cocaine.

– Jermaine Hughes, 34, charged with Sale of Cocaine.

– Jerod Hughes, 34, charged with Trafficking Marijuana.

– Haley Hughes, 25, charged with Trafficking Marijuana.

– Diane Williams, 50, charged with Possession of Cocaine.

– Kerence Marshall, 45, charged with Possession of Cocaine.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Warner Robins Police Department, Houston County District Attorney’s Office, Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office, Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, Cochran Police Department, Ocmulgee Drug Task Force, GBI SWRDO, and Middle Georgia Safe Streets Gang Task Force conducted the operation.

The investigation is currently ongoing and more charges may be filed. Charges will be turned over to the Houston County D.A.’s Office for prosecution.
