Chamber will host mayoral forum Sept. 10 at CGTC

The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the 2013 Mayoral Forum for the City of Warner Robins. The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 6-7 p.m. in the auditorium at the Warner Robins campus of Central Georgia Technical College, located at 80 Cohen Walker Dr.

Qualifying candidates for the 2013 Warner Robins Mayoral race include Mike Brashear, Chuck Chalk, Daron Lee, Joe Musselwhite and Randy Toms.

This event is designed to be an official platform in which the candidates vying for the seat as Mayor of Warner Robins can present their official platform as well as discuss issues of city-wide concern.  The program will feature brief remarks from candidates, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session.

“We feel that it is an important opportunity for constituents to hear directly from the candidates,” said Chamber President Morgan Law.  “We look forward to hearing about their plans, particularly as they relate to the Robins Region’s business community.”

The Chamber will invite invited all candidates appearing on the 2013 mayoral ballot. This is a free event and is open to the public and media. Registration is available online at www.robinsregion.com and by phone at 478.922.8585.

The Mayoral Forum is a project of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Division, chaired by Sonya Jenkins, Vision Inscribed.  The Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse or oppose candidates for public office.
