Centerville appoints judges for13
The 2013 appointments made were Municipal court judge Jeff Grube and municipal court judge pro-tems Susan McNally and Fred Graham. Clarence Williams was appointed as municipal court public defender, Rebecca Tydings was again appointed as City Attorney and the administrative law judge appointment was given to Herb Wells.
City Councilman Edward Tucker was named mayor pro-tem for the year as well.
In other business, the mayor and council received a large sign from Kid’s Journey, a group that assess the needs of children in Houston County. The sign signifies the city’s distinction of being named in the top 100 best communities for young people. The city earned the distinction in 2012.
