BMS pageant benefits local charity

Bonaire Middle School held its annual Benefit Pageant in

November, sponsored by the Bonaire Middle Jr. Beta Club. The 2013 Bonaire

Middle School Queen is Madison Jones. Her court consists of:  Meredith

Lashley, first runner-up; Taylor Vicsotka, second runner-up and winner of the

Academic Award; and Ashley Peek, third runner-up. The Talent Showcase winner

was Catherine Hancock. Second place went to Meredith Lashley and third place to

Brooke Stepanek. Catherine Hancock also won the application award.

 
 

Participants help with donations and the Goodwill award for

2013 went to Amber Talton who raised more than $600 for the mission. Amber

(pictured) also won the People’s Choice award.

Pageant proceeds are donated to an organization or charity in the community.

This year, the proceeds were donated to the Macon Rescue Mission.
