Cecil E. Harrison
Perry – Cecil E. Harrison, 67, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2013.
Cecil was born on June 20, 1945 in Norman Park, Georgia. He attended The Refuge Church, Perry, Georgia. Cecil was a graduate of Jones County High School. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Cecil spent most of his career working in the Automotive Industry. For many years he worked as General Manager for Firestone and Goodyear Tire Companies. He was the former Owner and Operator of Pro-Car Clinic and for the past eight years worked in inside sales at Harris Service and Equipment Company. He was passionate about spending time with his loving family and enjoyed football, especially the Atlanta Falcons and hunting. His parents, John Wesley Harrison and Winnie Harrison; siblings, Raymond, Margie, Roy, Betty Faye, and Carl, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty eight years, Doris P. Harrison, Perry; sons, Gary Harrison, Royston; Randy Harrison, Macon; brothers, Stanley Harrison, Atlanta; Fred Harrison, Macon; Ben and James Harrison, both of Gray; sister, Deborah Brantley, Macon; grandchildren, Grace and Autumn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
