Warner Robins’ unemployment rate declines
November’s preliminary unemployment rate declined to 7.0
percent in the Warner Robins area.
The decline is due to “fewer new layoffs, represented by
first-time claims for unemployment insurance benefits,” states a release from
the Georgia Department of Labor.
The rate was 7.2 percent in October 2012, and 7.3 percent in
November 2011.
Also, the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate
declined from 8.7 percent in October to 8.5 percent in November.
