WR Christmas Parade moved to next weekend

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Those who were hoping to catch the Christmas parade from the city of Warner Robins will need to make alternate plans this weekend. With a 90% chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service, the parade has been postponed to next Saturday, Dec. 9, according to a release by the city.

The parade is set to start at 10 a.m. that day and will follow the same route on Watson Boulevard between Davis Drive and N. Houston Road, the release said. The city also said they plan on collaborating with those involved to confirm their availability for the new date.

Despite the setback from Mother Nature, the city said they’re still feeling festive.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to celebrating the holiday season with our community on the new date,” the city said in the release. “The City of Warner Robins is dedicated to providing a joyful and safe experience for all, and we appreciate the ongoing support of our residents.”
