Macon, Ga. – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Athletics Department has announced the men’s and women’s basketball 2020-21 season schedules. While October typically signals the start of winter sports, COVID-19 forced the schedule to be pushed back a few months.
On the men’s side, the season will start on Friday, January 29 when the Titans host New Rock Prep at Titans Arena in Macon. The Lady Titans will tip-off their season on Tuesday, February 2 at home versus in-conference rival Albany Technical College.
Winning their third consecutive Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) conference championship, the Titans finished the 2019-20 season with a 23-10 overall record and a 13-3 record in the conference.
Returning for the Titans this season are sophomores Dominic Pierce, Truitt Spencer, and Montavious Terrell.
Making great strides last season, the Lady Titans finished 2019-20 with a 16-13 overall record and 9-8 in the conference.
The Lady Titans will return sophomores Juanisha Black, Dynesha Brown, Sakendra Paulk, Avanna Preston, Sadaja Price, Hayleigh Ross, and Mikyla Woods.
New this season, all Titans and Lady Titans home games will be streamed live on YouTube.
